Check
Through
correspondence with our users, we have discovered
that many of you have outdated web browsers that
do little justice to you - or to the authors of
the web sites that you are visiting.
Browsers
only interpret the HTML code (and other codes,
such as Java and JavaScript) that was in effect at
the time the browser was released. Chances are
your browser (Netscape, Microsoft Internet
Explorer, AOL's browser, etc.) was provided to you
by your Internet Service Provider and has become
obsolete in the last year. In the meantime the
HTML standards have been updated and now provide
web designers with the tools to greatly enhance
their sites. Many of them, including Web4you, are
making full use of these new capabilities.
Right
now you're probably thinking that it doesn't
matter that much to you, and maybe that's true.
But check out the section below and see what
you're seeing, compared with the description of
what you would be seeing with Netscape Navigator
4.51 or Internet Explorer 4.02 or 5.0. If you're
using an outdated browser or one that doesn't
support the latest enhancements, you're getting
shortchanged.

blue background in a picture with
multiple frames and colored matting. The
matting colors are green, red and black. |

This
text is

and centered on your screen.
The word "red" should be
blinking.
Examine
the table below to determine whether you
can view
colored text against a colored table
cell background.

text on a blue background. |
And
now a message to see if your browser is
Java compatible:
